Board meetings are on the third Friday of each month.  These meetings are open to the public.  As meetings are sometimes cancelled please email to check if the board meeting is still scheduled.

Purpose

a.     To promote and stimulate interest in the activities of the Ector County Library

b.     To assist the Ector County Library financially.

c.     To receive and maintain funds of real or personal property, or both, for the benefit of the Ector County Library and its programs.

Become a Friend

To become a member of Friends of Ector County Library click and print out the application form,  fill it out and mail it or drop it off at the library with your membership dues.Friend members get 50% off on book-nook  purchases.

Donations

Friends are always in need of donations of new and gently used books, magazines, music CD’s, and DVDs.  All proceeds from the sale of these items benefits the library. Please bring your donations to the front desk of the Ector County Library or call for more details. You can also choose the Ector County Friends of the Library as your charitable organization with AmazonSmile.

VOLUNTEER

Do you Love Books? Have a few hours a week to donate? Friends are in need of volunteers. If sorting through donations and stocking shelves sounds like something you would enjoy doing, email us or give us a call.

Book Nook
Friends of the Ector County Library sells used books, magazines, music CDs, and DVDs in the basement of the library.  You can shop for books 9:00am - 6:30pm Monday - Saturday.
