Join us in the basement activity room and learn how to make a bracer for a cosplay costume with illuminatikittn!
Cosplay Workshop:
• Planning Your Cosplay: Learn how to budget, select the right materials, and break down a cosplay design for recreation.
• Drafting Patterns: In this workshop, we will kick off our week-long project of making an armor bracer by learning how to make a pattern from scratch.
• Intro to Foam Smithing: Taking our pattern from the previous day, your cosplay instructor will teach you how to turn that paper into a wearable piece of foam armor.
• Painting and Weathering: Bring your plain foam armor to life by learning different painting and finishing techniques.
• Finishing a Costume: Now that our armor is finished, how can we actually wear it? In this last session, your instructor will show you all the different ways to finish a costume.
