Here’s a way to help out your library – become a Friend of the Ector County Library!

Friends Meetings are held  quarterly on Tuesdays at noon. Come find out what the Friends have going on. Everyone is welcome. Meetings are in the basement activity room.

Purpose

The Friends of the Ector County Library is a group dedicated to promoting the library and increasing its scope and services.

History

The Friends were organized in the fall of 1959 with Tom Rodman as the first president. Although the organization is rather young, many accomplishments have already been achieved.

Become a Friend

Join the Friends and become a member of a worthy organization that serves the citizens of Ector County. Just click and print out the application form fill it out and mail it or drop it off at the library with your membership dues.
Friend members get 50% off on book-nook  purchases.

Donations

The Friends are always in need of donations of new and gently used books, magazines, puzzles, music CD’s, records, movies, video games, board games, monetary,  etc. All proceeds benefit the library. Please bring your donations to the Ector County Library or call for more details. You can also choose the Ector County Friends of the Library as your charitable organization with AmazonSmile.

 

VOLUNTEER

Do you Love Books? Have a few hours a week to donate? Friends are in need of volunteers. If sorting through donations and re-stock shelves sounds like something you would enjoy doing, give us a call. One of the greatest perks of volunteering is first pick at purchasing.
