To celebrate Library Lover's Month, Adult Services will be giving away a basket filled with books and even a Kindle!  Each time you check out at the first-floor circulation desk, be sure to enter the drawing!  The more often you check out, the better your chances!  If you have questions, please ask at the circulation or reference desk.

Are you in a reading rut?  Looking for something new or different?  The library staff is here to help by offering "Blind Date with a Book".  Pick up one of the wrapped books and determine if you might want to "date" the book by the clues the staff placed on the cover.  Sound interesting to you?  Check it out at the circulation desk and you might have just found a new author!  We'll have these "blind dates" ready for you all month so grab some chocolate and a glass of wine and snuggle up with your "blind date".

The library will host the free Humanities Texas "Signers of the Texas Declaration of Independence" exhibition February 16 through March 12, 2016.  Twenty panels of photographic images and captions present an expanded look at the fifty-nine extraordinary men who brought modern Texas into being.  We hope you are able to visit the exhibit which coincides with the anniversary of Texas Independence Day, March 02.
